This return policy is only applicable if the item was sold on Storyathome.com.

Please Note: Furniture items are not eligible for returns or replacements, except in cases where the furniture item is different from what you ordered, is damaged, or has a manufacturing defect. In the rare event of any missing parts, we will send them to you upon receiving your query.

Also items are only eligible for return, refund and replacement if only applicable in the return time period only if the fulfills the following conditions:

  • If the item received is different from what you had ordered.
  • If the item received is damaged or manufacturing defect condition.
  • If the item is different from what is mentioned on the product page.
  • If the item is having missing parts or accessories which was mentioned on the product page.
  • If the return request is raised within 7 Working Days from the date of delivery. Return request after return period will be rejected.
  • If the order placed is prepaid, then the refund amount will be transferred to your account. In case of COD order placed, then the refund amount shall be credited to your storyathome account (In the form of Coupon Code, which can be used once for your future purchases).

Any item to be returned should be returned in their original unused condition, with all the original accessories, price tag, manuals, parts accessories, original packaging box delivered to you. You will be responsible for any damage incurred to the product during return transit, hence for safety please ensure proper packing of the product before returning.

Due to multiple factors colors of the actual product and the product image CGI Images varies. Actual color of the product may vary and hence slight variation in color shaded does not come in return policy. Return of different color Items is only eligible if the color of the item is totally different from the image on the product page. For eg. Item shown was blue and received brown.

We hold the rights to reject returns, refund or replace the item depending on your return request and return conditions fulfilled. Any other reason for returns might be rejected or approved depending on conditions fulfilled. If you request for returning the product for any other reasons and if approved return shipping charges will be charged.


Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at care@storyathome.inand send your item to: BIDC Gorwa Vadodara Gujarat IN 390016.

We shall require full payment of shipping charges for exchange which includes reverse and forward shipping. There will also be a fee of Rs. 50 which will be charged to cover our fulfillment and packaging expenses.

Free Gift Policy

All free products are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

If you got a free gift because your order was ₹2499 or more, but later decide to return items worth ₹2499 or more, here’s what happens:

- If the total value of the products you keep is still ₹2499 or more, you can keep the free gift.

- If the total value of the products you keep drops below ₹2499, you need to return the free gift as well.

- If you don’t return the free gift, its price will be deducted from your refund.

By accepting the free product, you agree to these terms.

 

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs and payment charges are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over Rs.499 , you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
